 Power Ecalene Fuels, Inc. (PEFI) is a clean energy production company formed as a Colorado corporation in November 2007. The Arvada Colorado based company is the exclusive licensor of a patented nano- catalyst technology that efficiently converts "syngas" or "producer gas" into a premium mixed alcohol transportation fuel called Ecalene™. Ecalene™ is useable as a stand-alone fuel for cars, trucks, buses, jet aircraft and boats. It is already registered with the Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") as a fuel additive. PEFI's innovative process enables us to produce 124 octane-rated Ecalene™ from virtually any carbon-based material. Suitable feedstock includes biomass, fossil fuels and waste materials ranging from wood chips to sludge. The PEFI technology can produce Ecalene™from such a wide variety of feedstock. There is virtually no area in the world that cannot provide suitable feedstock. Any well-populated area can provide municipal solid waste (MSW) and sludge absent any other feedstock. PEFI can help these urban and suburban communities to clean their soil and groundwater at the same time it reduces air emissions with clean burning Ecalene™fuel. Company founder Gene Jackson has been improving the Ecalene™ production process for 20 years. Several million dollars were spent perfecting the gas-to-liquid technology excluding any R&D expenditures from Dow Chemical, originator of the alcohol-from-syngas process patents provided to Jackson for development. The company now seeks to spread its green technology globally by operating its own production facilities and licensing its patented technology internationally. Between them, senior managers earned college degrees in Science & Agriculture, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance and a PhD in Synthetic Chemistry.
