Technology
PEFI will license its Ecalene™ production technology for use in producing PEFI's premium branded fuel, additives for the transportation fuels market and various alcohols for non-transportation related commercial use. The Ecalene™ production technology is capable of producing Ecalene™ and many other mixed alcohol products by simply adjusting pressure, temperature and the ratio of the chemical process reactants (H2 and CO).

As part of its technology package, PEFI will provide the patented system catalyst and consultant services on an ongoing basis to ensure the successful operations of the Ecalene™technology for the life of each plant where the technology is licensed.

Operations Management
In addition to operating its own manufacturing facilities, PEFI will provide operations management services that wish to own their own production facilities, but do not wish to manage them. Municipalities for example may wish to include an Ecalene™ plant as part of their waste management program and do not seem themselves in the "fuels" business. They may not however wish to relinquish the revenues that derive from the fuel manufacture and distribution. PEFI will contract those operations as well as plant maintenance if desired.
